What is Scrip?

SCRIP is gift certificates that St. Alphonsus School buys at a discounted rate and sells to you at face value.  An example is a $100 gift certificate which Safeway sells to the school for $95.  When you buy the $100 gift certificate for $100, the school has made $5!

How does online Scrip ordering work?

  • Print out the .pdf form.
  • Contact the Scrip Manager.
  • Confirmation of your order will be made to you with information regarding the availability and pick-up time of the items ordered.

Scrip orders, that are sent by 11:30 PM on Tuesday night, will be filled by Friday at 2 PM.  Cash or check in the amount of the order is required in exchange for your Scrip.

Scrip orders received after Tuesday night will be handled as best possible but may be difficult to guarantee a pickup by Friday afternoon or that weekend.  Good effort will still be made to fill your order and you will be contacted regarding your orders progress.

Where can I pick up my Scrip?

Scrip ordered before the Tuesday deadline can be picked up at the school office on or after the following Friday after 2:00 PM.  The school office is open on school days from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Your Scrip will also be available at 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday and at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday after Mass.

Can I order Scrip another way?

Yes!  Scrip order forms can be picked up at weekend mass or the school office.  The order form is also available in Adobe PDF format.

  • Scrip is also sold in the school office on school days from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Scrip is also available for sale at 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday and at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Mass on Sunday, after Mass.

How can I maximize the benefit to the school?

You can buy through the online stores with Scrip gift certificates!  This more than doubles the benefit to the school.

Also, don't forget to save your Ballard Market receipts and Campbell Soup labels.  Ballard Market receipts go to the Athletic Association and Campbell Soup labels help the school obtain needed classroom equipment.  Both may be turned into either the school or the rectory office.
