Infant Baptisms

Parents who wish to have their child baptized at St. Alphonsus must participate in a preparation class.  Please call Sandra Dresbeck at 206-784-6464 for more information.  Adults that are interested in becoming Catholic follow a different route which is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).


First Eucharist / First Reconciliation

Our classes for children (and parents) who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time meet in the fall of the year.  Children must be prepared for first reconciliation before first Eucharist.  Please call Sandra Dresbeck at 206-784-6464 for more information.


Marriage

To be married in St. Alphonsus Parish one of the couple must be registered and attending Mass regularly.  A minimum of 6 months prior to the wedding date, the couple must contact the Parochial Vicar, Father Ramon, 206-784-6464, personally to discuss the date and wedding preparation requirements.  Further information


Confirmation

St. Alphonsus offers Confirmation preparation to the young people of the parish (usually juniors and seniors in high school) every other year.  Please contact Sandra Dresbeck at 206-784-6464 for more information.


New and Returning Catholics

St. Alphonsus welcomes inquiries about membership in the Catholic Church.  Classes begin in the fall in the Family Center.
